Ankle reconstruction, ligament repairs, Achilles tendon repair and ankle fractures.
Do I need Physiotherapy after surgery?
Yes, your Orthopaedic Surgeon will recommend that you undertake a post operative rehabilitation program with a Physiotherapist.
How long will it take to make a full recovery?
Pain can settle within a few weeks following surgery, however in order to successfully achieve full function it can take between 6 to 12 months.
Do I need to be referred to Physio Physique?
No, you do not need a referral from your Doctor or Orthopaedic Surgeon. To begin your post operative rehabilitation with us, please make a booking.
